Psalm 24

Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty-- he is the King of glory. – Psalm 24 v 10

Psalm 24 has been a recurring passage for our family; it was a significant focus of our church community in Bethnal Green when relaunching a historic church in 2010, it was memorably the focus of a Nicaraguan church sermon whilst travelling in 2012, it features on the central memorial in London's Victoria Park where we spend so much time as a family and also on a set of gates which was the first completed church project that Rob managed (pictured), inspiring the name of his company.

On many church building projects, the physical reopening of historic doors, often sealed shut for decades, presents an outward sign of the community engaging with God in new ways. And it speaks into the moment we find ourselves in now, as we recognise God as King and invite Him to lead us as we as we approach this exciting new opportunity.
